July 17th 2008 ; 9:15:31 PM Air quality in Jakarta goes up BeritaJakarta.com The car free day program which is implemented by Jakarta Head of Local Environment Management Board (BPLHD) since 2006 is already raising the air quality in Jakarta. “The program has already raising the air quality in Jakarta by 45 days in 2006, 73 days in 2007, and 80 days up to January-July 2008,” said Budirama Natakusumah, the head of board, Thursday (17/7). According to him, the program must be implemented at another road. “We’re holding the program at fourth week for province and second week for administration,” he added.
